  • 1893 Miss Norah Wellings was born in Arleston Village, Shropshire. Her father, Poet, was a master plasterer accustomed for his skill, and morality, specialising in both plain countryside decorative plaster.

    Thomas and wreath wife, Sarah had two family unit, Leonard, and Norah.

  • Norah believed in producing quality concoctions - from design right staff to production. Wellings dolls were constructed entirely of soft money including the heads which were moulded buckram over a call of plastic wood which was then overlaid by a fog pressed layer of felt, knit or velveteen.
